Once again, fans from all over the country made their pilgrimage to the East Coast’s premiere EDM camping festival for its third year at The Pavilion at Montage Mountain in Scranton, PA. Camp Bisco, curated by local Philadelphia jam band The Disco Biscuits, has established itself as a force in the scene since its inception 15 years ago. Always delivering top shelf lineups, camping, production, art, and even a waterpark, it’s not hard to see why Bisco is a such staple for so many.
This year’s lineup saw the return of titans Bassnectar and Pretty Lights – two artists who haven’t graced the mountain since 2015. Also on the roster were Griz, Gramatik, Russ Liquid, Space Jesus, Esseks, iX, Lotus, Shpongle, G Jones, Action Bronson, 12th Planet, Eprom, Tokimonsta, and many more!
While they all gave great performances, there were a few that stood out above the rest: Too Many Zooz conducted an infectiously high energy dance party to kick things off Saturday afternoon, while Philadelphia’s Wax Future flawlessly executed their live band debut. Probably my most favorite of the weekend was a performance from Belgian dubstep duo: Ganja White Night, who delivered an incredibly electrifying set right before Pretty Lights took the stage Saturday night.
Despite the inclement weather it seems every festival this year has been plagued with, both fans, artists, and staff alike all came together to make Camp Bisco yet another truly special experience. Please enjoy some photos from this unforgettable weekend and be sure to catch the next one!
