Luzcid has been making waves for quite some time now.  It was only until his recent collaborations with Bassnectar on ‘Science Fiction’ and ‘Music Is The Drug’ that the Houston producer started to garner the attention of the masses.  This newfound notoriety, combined with a strong record of raw talent, also earned him a spot on Liquid Stranger’s WAKAAN record label – in which he releases his new Hypnagogia EP.

The 5-track project is an impressive display of Neil Berry’s complex sound design and composition – I haven’t kept anything on repeat this long since Bleep Bloop’s #PV500.  The hit single “Microphone Check” is sandwiched by heavy bangers, “Blow Up”, “Gotcha”, and “Push Em Up,” which is finished off by the downtempo “Reminisce”.  While the term “Hypnagogia” may refer to the state of lucid dreaming, this is one project that no soul will be able to sleep on.
