Those of us here at The Wook of Wall Street are no strangers to mental illness and the tolls it can take on our decision making and intrusive thoughts. Earlier this week, a  member of BAD ROYALE sent out a rather troubling tweet that mentioned them having thoughts of suicide.

Within moments, however, some of the heaviest hitting names in electronic music took to twitter to show support, and make sure they were OK.

Beyond that, slews of supporters, fans, and publications poured into the replies offering support, praise of their music, and opening up as outlets for them to reach out if they needed. It was immediately obvious that BAD ROYALE recognized and felt the love coming from the community.

This is exactly what this community is about, and it’s so uplifting to see fellow producers and fans alike rally around BAD ROYALE like they did.

It’s hard to imagine why BAD ROYALE would consider their music career a failure, and that’s exactly what most of the replies express. They’ve had a number of popular collaborations with the likes of Steve Aoki, Diplo, and Skrillex. That’s an impressive resume that half of the producers in music would kill to boast.

I, for one, have always considered their incredible remix of “Run” by Alison Wonderland to be a bonafied BANGER. But we also understand the feeling of being your own worst critic. So keep on keepin’ on, BAD ROYALE, and remember that if just one person is moved by your music, then your career has far from failed.
