In a scene that often falls victim to oversaturation, it’s not often that we see a prodigy manifest quite like Brandon “The Orcastrator” Theis. Having roots in Brazil, a childhood in Baltimore, and a residence in Colorado, it’s easy for Brandon to effortlessly pull influences from many corners of the world.
His appreciation for boss jazz musicians such as Antonio Carlos Jobim and Stan Getz, combined with his knowledge of guitar, talkbox, piano, saxophone, and Ableton, enables Brandon to forge his own curated sound that could permeate the souls of even the toughest crowd – and he plans to do exactly that at The Bluebird this Thursday.
For The Orcastrator’s first headlining show, he’s bringing out Alex Bowman, Baltimore’s own Choppy Oppy, Gaia’s Groove, Midicinal, and Kinetik Groove for direct support. Production won’t be lacking either with promises of a special stage setup that will feature water, magic, lights, and visual effects by City Boy Lasers. All in attendance are in for a treat, but be sure to tune in after the show when Brandon will announce his new EP, his tour, and other special festival announcements.
