Bruce HarperVCTRE first flew onto my radar just over a year ago when his track “Portal” queued up on my Soundcloud radio. Ever since then I’ve been trying to find a way to bring the Alabama-native up north. In the meantime Aaron Pugh’s talent has afforded him billing on some of the heaviest lineups in the scene, often sharing a stage with the likes of EazyBaked, Jantsen, KLO, The Widdler, and more!
Aaron wastes no time unleashing his signature style – one that sounds as if it’s trying to literally tear though the speakers. He kicks things off with his original “Dethroned VIP” which samples vocals from Snoop Dogg & Pharrell’s classic “Drop It Like It’s Hot”. Over the next 50 minutes VCTRE embellishes the mix with a beautiful mosaic of crunchy halftime/neuro & dubstep bangers. Being only a taste of what’s to come, we’re excited to see what he has planned for his debut!
