Bruce HarperMany of you may know Brandon Wisniski as the prodigious flow artist typically seen spinning at Bassnectar gatherings. What some of you may not be aware of is that he also produces music under the moniker: Wreckno. I was actually first informed of the Michigan-native’s musical acuity from watching his hooping videos on Instagram. A remarkable dancer, yes, but what thoroughly impressed me were his song selections – so much so that I often found myself querying his repertoire to expand my own.
In just under an hour, Wreckno combines his innate aesthetic and sharp acumen to finesse methodical mashups on this promo mix. He ingeniously syncs Nicki Minaj vocals over Bassnectar’s “Ready2Rage” and even whimsically fuses Emancipator with TroyBoi & Beyoncé. Being only a taste of what’s to come, we’re excited to see what he has planned for his debut!
